Adolfson & Peterson Construction is one of the top 50 construction companies in the United States, providing construction management, design/build and general contracting services to public and private clients. Among its many projects is the 69,150 square feet of shops at Stetson Village, a retail center in rapidly growing Northwest Phoenix. In its role as building contractor on the project, A&P worked closely with K&I, which designed the complex.

K&I was great to work with,” says Ben Shunk, A&P’s project manager for Stetson Village. “We had no issues. They provided us with complete, well-done drawings to work from, and they were extremely easy to work with.”

Shunk noted that K&I brought a strong focus on their client to the project, which was evident in the firm’s attention to detail while doing their job walks.

When it came to change orders on the project, K&I was extremely through and always kept the owners best interests in mind,” says Shunk. “K&I was also very prompt on their RFI responses which helped us stay on schedule. K&I’s people kept their eye on the schedule and budget in order to get a quality project completed. They saw the big picture and were as committed to the success of the project as the owners.”
